Captain Lance Selph; B-Shift Commander

Chief Lance Selph
B-Shift Battalion 2

I started my career in 1997 as a firefighter/paramedic with the Springdale Fire Dept. I worked with the Kansas City Kansas Fire Dept. as a firefighter/paramedic for a short time before moving back to Fayetteville. I worked at CEMS as a paramedic and then hired on with Fayetteville Fire Dept. in 2003. I’ve worked several positions including firefighter, driver, captain and fire marshal. In addition, I’ve assisted in several NWA fire training academies.

I am excited to begin the next chapter of my career serving the City of Fayetteville as Battalion Chief. Thanks to all those who have mentored and helped me grow throughout each stage. Also, a special thanks to my family for all the support and encouragement.
