Packet Pick Up
Your goody bag and timing device will be available for pick up on Friday, June 9, from 3-6pm at Rush Running Co in Fayetteville. Packets and timing devices not picked up Friday can be picked up at the start (Lake Fayetteville Marina) on Saturday (June 10) from 5:45-6:45am.
The transition area will be open from 5:45am-6:50am. This is where you will rack your bike (with your helmet) and stage any other items you’ll need to transition from the run to the bike and from the bike to the run. During the race, there will be an "enter" end and an "exit" end of the Transition Area. Adjacent to the Transition Area, there will be “Mount Bike” and “Dismount Bike” signs to indicate where to begin/end riding. This ensures safety and that your timing device will be read by the timing mat adjacent to the transition area. Volunteers will be in the Transition Area to assist with proper flow as well as to ensure that bike helmets are properly secured prior to exiting the Transition Area.
There will be refreshments available for participants after the race (fruit, bagels, water, beverages). In addition, there will be raffle prizes, a dance party, photo opportunities, and the awards ceremony. We anticipate starting awards around 9am.
All finishers will receive a finisher medal. Awards will be given to the top three overall individuals and to the top three overall relay teams. Age group awards will be given to the top three finishers as well. Age groups are <14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, >70.
The Ladies Du Fayetteville will utilize the paved trails in the Lake Fayetteville area, starting and ending from the Lake Fayetteville Marina.
