What is this Project?
Allocation of $5 million in additional funds for pavement maintenance and overlays, to be selected based on results of a pavement inventory.
Why is It Important?
The Fayetteville Mobility Study identified maintenance of existing streets as a major concern of citizens. To address that concern, a study of the existing condition of all streets in the City was authorized, with plans to be completed in spring 2019. The study will generate a five year paving plan and identify means and methods of pavement rehabilitation, overlays, surface treatments, etc. to improve the overall condition of streets in the city.
