What is the Project?
Stream restoration project that would address major erosion currently damaging private property near the south end of Ashbrook Drive (Ward 3).
Why is it Important?
This project would help alleviate the continued erosion and loss of private property as well as reduce the amount of pollutants being discharged into our streams and waterbodies.
What is the Status?

The City was awarded a $300,000 grant from the EPA to match bond dollars in order to complete the Niokaska Creek and Scull Creek Stream Restoration projects.
Design is underway. Project completion is estimated to occur in the second quarter of 2023.
How is it Funded?
Funding for the project comes from the Bond Issue approved by voters in April 2019 and the EPA grant.
