Cyclo-Cross is coming to Fayetteville!
Our City is very pleased to have been chosen as the site for two major Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) events, the 2021 Cyclo-Cross World Cup on October 13, 2021, and the 2022 Cyclo-Cross World Championship competitions held January 28-30, 2022.
On October 13, 2021, Fayetteville will host one of three World Cups to be held in the United States. There are currently two awards, tailored to the different categories of riders: Men Elite and Women Elite. This race will provide a taste of what’s to come for the 2022 World Championships, the biggest event for the sport of Cyclo-Cross – right here in Fayetteville!

Centennial Park at Millsap Mountain, Fayetteville
Road Closure
Old Farmington Road will be closed from 7 a.m. through 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 13.
Parking & Shuttle Service
There is no parking at Centennial Park. Shuttle service will be available from designated parking areas. Information on shuttle and pick-up locations will be announced on the Experience Fayetteville's official Cyclocross website.
A bike valet will be available, and spectators are encouraged to bike, walk or find alternative transportation to Centennial Park.
Tickets
Tickets are available now. General Admission to Fayetteville’s 2021 World-Cup Event is free to the public, however, you must register to attend due to capacity restrictions. General Admission includes complimentary shuttle services and/or bike valet. Once at the venue, General Admission ticket holders will enjoy racecourse access, access to the Event Expo and the opportunity to purchase food and beverage.
COVID-19 Safety Protocols
Those attending the 2021 UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup on October 13 at Centennial Park, regardless of age, must provide proof of full vaccination (final dose at least two weeks prior to the race) or proof of a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test (PCR or antigen) taken within 72 hours prior to entry. A screen shot on your mobile device will suffice.
The City of Fayetteville is currently under a mask ordinance. When distancing cannot be practiced, all attendees will be required to wear masks that cover the nostrils and mouth except for when eating and drinking.
