Wilson Park South Neighborhood

ity Ordinance 6259 of 2019 established a parking district for an eight-block area south of Wilson Park. The boundaries of the neighborhood parking district consist of Louise Street on the north, Park Avenue on the east, Maple Street on the south and Wilson Avenue on the west.

  • Residents within this parking district are eligible to receive parking permits at no cost. 
  • On-street spaces within this district are a combination of permit-only and mixed-use paid parking designations (available to the public).

Parking Programs (Permits)

Residential-Parking-Only Areas

These areas require a residential parking permit. Residents can obtain their permits free of charge from the Parking Management Office. The Enrollment Information (PDF) and the Enrollment Form are available online. You may complete an online Enrollment Form or download a fill-and-print version.

The completed enrollment form(s) and required documentation may be brought to the Parking Management Office, 416 W. Spring Street, for processing. We will have your permits ready for you in just a few minutes. If you are unable to come to the office, you may fax, scan and email, or mail the form(s) and documentation to us. We will be glad to process your paperwork and mail the appropriate permits to you.

Requirements for Fraternal Units

A letter from the fraternal unit on official letterhead authorizing a representative of the fraternal unit must be submitted to the Parking Division prior to applying for permits. Residents of fraternal units are not eligible for residential parking permits (stickers) or guest passes.

Public Use of Paid On-Street Parking

Where designated by signs, certain mixed-use on-street parking spaces within the neighborhood permit parking district are available to the public for paid parking. Please note the number that appears on the pavement as you park, as you will need this number to pay for parking.

Payment

Payment to park in these spaces can be made by using the ParkMobile app. The app is available for both iPhone and Android devices and can also be accessed on a mobile web browser.

  1. Enter the zone number posted on signs around the parking spot
  2. Select the amount of time needed and touch the "Start Parking" button to begin the session.
  3. You may extend the time of your parking session on your mobile device.

Rates

Seven (7) days a week:

  • 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. - $1 per hour
  • 4 p.m. – 2 a.m. - $1.50 per hour
  • 4 p.m. – 2 a.m. - $1.50 per hour
