Welcome to the beautiful City of Fayetteville, Arkansas! The City of Fayetteville wants all residents to understand our City codes. Below is a list of common code violations:
- Inoperable Vehicles: Any vehicle that is not able to be driven on the street is considered inoperable and should be parked only in an enclosed garage or covered carport.
- Junk and/or Debris in Yard: Brush, furniture, appliances, junk and other items should be kept out of the yard.
- Overgrown Grass/Weeds: Remember to mow your yard! Grass should be kept shorter than eight (8) inches. (On vacant lots without a structure, grass should be kept shorter than 18 inches.)
- Over-occupancy: No more than four (4) unrelated people are allowed to occupy a residence in a Multi-Family Zone. No more than three (3) unrelated people are allowed to occupy a residence in a Single Family Zone.
- Parking in the Yard: Park in the driveway or where there is a maintained parking spot. The maximum number of vehicles allowed on a single family property is four (4).
