RE: OFFICER INVOLVED SHOOTING UPDATE
 
           
Fayetteville Police Chief Mike Reynolds has released the names of the officers involved in last night’s officer involved shooting at 1337 Splash Drive.

Officer Kyle Jeney, a three-and-a-half-year officer of the Fayetteville Police Department, and Officer Wyatt Rublee, a one-and-a-half-year officer of the Fayetteville Police Department, were the officers who responded to the suicide threat call.

Officer Kyle Jeney fired his weapon, and he has been placed on paid administrative leave, per Fayetteville Police Department Policy. This investigation is on-going.
