Reminder on State Directives for Gatherings, Indoor and Outdoor Venues
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Today the City of Fayetteville issued a reminder to residents and visitors on state-mandated directives limiting gatherings and group sizes, reducing capacity at venues and requiring face coverings during the COVID-19 pandemic. This reminder comes in advance of what is anticipated to be a busy weekend in Fayetteville as people attend a University of Arkansas football game, attend pre- and post-game gatherings and visit local restaurants, bars and shops.
To help prevent COVID-19 community spread, City officials encourage anyone planning to attend or host a gathering on private or public property to become familiar with current Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) directives.
The following directives set specific requirements for gatherings of more than 10 people held indoors or outdoors on public or private property, and may be useful for anyone wishing to attend, host or provide rental space to a gathering this weekend.

Additionally, all residents and visitors are expected to follow the state’s directive on face coverings:
The City of Fayetteville encourages residents and visitors to stay safe by taking every precaution possible to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, no matter what activities they plan to enjoy this weekend. Please wear a face covering, maintain social distancing, stay home if you do not feel well and seek testing if you have symptoms or believe you have been exposed.
