FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Presenting Sponsor, Moxie Cycling Company, and the Fayetteville Parks and Recreation Department invite women to register for the 2017 Ladies DU Fayetteville to be held on Sunday, June 11. This Fayetteville Race Series event is a duathlon that provides an empowering experience for women of all ages. The 2016 inaugural Ladies DU Fayetteville had 186 participants and more than 235 women are expected in 2017. The department hopes to grow it into popular, annual tradition.
 
Ladies DU Fayetteville is a 2-mile run / 11-mile bicycle ride / 2-mile run duathlon format and takes place on the paved trails at Lake Fayetteville and Veterans Memorial Park. This unique, women-only event is supportive and rewarding. Post-race festivities include massage chairs, prizes, and healthy snacks.
 
Participants have the option of competing individually or as a two-person relay team with one runner and one cyclist. Registration fees are $45 for individual entries and $75 for relay entries. The fee includes a supported course, race timing, downloadable event photos, cycling jersey, and (new this year!) unique finisher medals. Please register prior to May 8 in order to guarantee the proper jersey size. Hotel, jersey sizes, and registration information can be found at this link.
