FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The City of Fayetteville Transportation Division is making storm drain improvements along the west side of S. Duncan Avenue (between Stone Street and Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard). Improvements include new storm drain pipe, drop inlets, sidewalk. and curbing.
The construction work started Wednesday, June 12 and is expected to be complete in four weeks. The project requires closing Duncan Avenue to thru traffic during work hours of 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Residents will be allowed access during work hours. The street will be opened to thru traffic on nights and weekends. Detour routes will be marked. Please use extreme caution when in the work area and watch for personnel and equipment.

We regret the inconvenience this may cause; however, this will allow needed improvements to be made.
