FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The City of Fayetteville Transportation Division will be milling and placing an asphalt overlay on the two westernmost parking lots and entry drives at Wilson Park this week. These areas will be closed 24 hours a day from 6 a.m. on Wednesday, August 23 through 5 p.m. on Friday, August 25. Driveway and parking space striping will occur the following week.
The Wilson Park Improvement Project is almost complete. New play equipment and a musical playground have been installed. Additional renovations include improved drainage, entry drive reconstruction, asphalt resurfacing, additional benches, and improved ADA accessibility to picnic tables, play equipment, and parking.
