FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The City has approved a temporary road closure permit for utility work on several sections of Sycamore Street. Construction work will be conducted in three phases over a 12-week period from Thursday, August 31 through Wednesday, November 15, 2017. The road closures are from 7 a.m. through 7 p.m., six days a week (Monday – Saturday). Detours will be marked. Residents will be allowed access as needed. Steel plates and temporary concrete will cover the construction work during evenings and on Sundays.
The anticipated schedule is:
- Sycamore Street (College to Woodland): August 31 – September 30
- Sycamore Street (Green Valley to Woolsey): October 1 – November 1
- Sycamore Street (Woolsey to Gregg): November 1 – 14
