City Seeks Holiday Donations for 11th Annual Senior Giving Tree Event
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Help spread holiday season cheer to our community’s senior citizens! Fayetteville’s Community Resources Division is seeking gift and monetary donations for its 111h Annual Senior Giving Tree program. This time of year can be particularly hard for seniors – your donations and contributions can help make the holidays a little bit brighter.
Gifts will be delivered to homebound participants of the Meals on Wheels program. Gift ideas include robes, nightgowns, house slippers, blankets, crossword puzzles, emergency radios, batteries, nightlights, first aid kits, and gift cards. Monetary donations are also welcome and will be used to purchase gifts. Unwrapped gifts will be accepted at the Community Resources office (125 W. Mountain Street) through Friday, December 1.
For more information about giving opportunities, please call the Community Resources office at 479-575-8260 or visit the community development section of the City’s website.
