Ranger’s Pantry Holiday Pet Food Drive
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Fayetteville Public Library is hosting its annual Ranger’s Pantry Holiday Pet Food Drive from Wednesday, November 22 through Wednesday, December 20. Please place your pet food donations by the tree in the children’s section at the library (125 W. Mountain Street). Dog and cat food of all types is appreciated. Donated pet food will help keep shelves stocked and ready for distribution this winter.
The City of Fayetteville’s Community Resources division created
Ranger’s Pantry pet food bank program in 2010 to help keep Fayetteville families and their pets together. Ranger’s Pantry provides pet food to those who are struggling to feed their pets during unfortunate circumstances. The program benefits applicants who are Fayetteville residents and meet HUD’s income guidelines. Ranger’s Pantry is 100% donation-based. Thanks to generous contributions from our community – the program has helped feed approximately 4,000 animals and more than 140,300 pounds of pet food has been donated since 2010. The Community Resources Division is grateful for the Library’s continued support over the last five years and thankful for all the contributions.
