North Street Closed to All Traffic for 33 Hours
This Weekend for Railroad Reconstruction
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas and Missouri Railroad is performing railroad crossing reconstruction and signal work at its W. North Street crossing from 7 a.m. on Saturday, December 16 through 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 17. W. North Street will be closed to thru traffic from Garland Avenue to Gregg Avenue. Detours will be marked to use W. Sycamore Street for crossing the railroad tracks.
PLEASE NOTE: W. North Street will be closed to all traffic, including cyclists and pedestrians, from the Razorback Greenway to N. Iron Horse Drive for approximately 33 hours from 7 a.m. on Saturday, December 16 through 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 17. Residences and businesses on either side of the railroad track can be accessed by Gregg Street on the east and by Leverett Avenue on the west.
