RE: FAYETTEVILLE POLICE MAKE ARREST IN CONSTRUCTION SITE THEFTS.
Fayetteville Police Chief Greg Tabor announced today the arrest of an individual for thefts from construction sites in the Northwest Arkansas area.
Over the past several months, Fayetteville detectives along with members of the Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force (4th JDDTF) have been investigating numerous complaints of thefts from construction sites. During the course of the investigation, detectives were able to identify and conduct surveillance on a suspect. Detectives witnessed him commit several thefts from construction sites, and they identified places where stolen property was located.
On April 18th, 2018, at approximately 12:30 P.M., detectives arrested WILLIAM HOAG, 44, of Springdale for Theft of Property (4 counts) and Possession of a Controlled Substance. After Mr. Hoag’s arrest, multiple search warrants were obtained and executed by members of the Fayetteville Police Department, 4th JDDTF and Springdale Police Department at multiple locations in Springdale. An estimated value of the recovered property is $300,000.00.
