Inaugural “Best Bark in the Park” Photography Contest
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.— The leaves are changing, and the City of Fayetteville is celebrating with a cutest dog photo contest. Don’t miss your chance to enter your dog to be selected as the “Best Bark in the Park”. You and your pup can have a chance to win select prizes from Animal Medical Clinic, Pack Rat Outdoor Center, and Bliss Cupcakes. The inaugural “Best Bark in the Park” cutest dog photo contest starts today, October 29, and the deadline to submit is Monday, November 12 at 11:59 p.m.
Organized by the Parks and Recreation Department, the “Best Bark in the Park” cutest dog photo contest, will feature your adorable dogs at one of the following community parks: Bryce Davis Park, Gulley Park, Walker Park, or Wilson Park. Contestants and canines will be judged by appearance, charisma, expression, creative use of the park setting, and that “special something” by members of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.
To be eligible, you must be at least 18 years old and a Fayetteville resident. Limit is one entry per person. Visit http://www.fayetteville-ar.gov/parks for more information about the contest, official rules, and online submission form.
Feel free to contact the Parks and Recreation office at 479-444-3471 about the contest or many other fun and exciting programs and events offered by the Parks and Recreation Department.
As a reminder, we encourage participants to keep their dogs on their leash (dogs can be off-leash in the Iams Dog Park at Bryce Davis Park), and always pick up after their dogs.
