Fayetteville Police Chief Greg Tabor announced today the Fayetteville Police Department will join law enforcement officers across the country for the 2018 Click It or Ticket seat belt enforcement mobilization, November 19^th  through November 25^th. 

During the mobilization, officers will be cracking down on motorists who fail to wear their seat belts.
            
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, nearly half of the 23,551 passenger vehicle occupants killed in crashes in 2017 were unrestrained.
           
The Fayetteville Police Department urges motorists to wear their seat belts at all times.
