Fayetteville Police Chief Greg Tabor, as a participant and in cooperation with the Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force, announced the February 2019 results on continued drug enforcement efforts. During the month of February, the 4th Judicial District Drug Task Force made 28 drug related arrests for the following offenses: 17 individuals were arrested for Delivery of a Controlled Substance (6 of the above individuals were also charged with Simultaneous Possession of Drugs/Firearms and 2 for Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons Prohibited)
8 individuals were arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance with Purpose to Deliver (2 of the above individuals were also charged with Simultaneous Possession of Drugs/Firearms and 1 was charged with Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons Prohibited)
2 individuals were arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance
1 individual was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia The 4th Judicial District Drug Task Force seized/purchased the following items of evidence during the month of February: 471.2 grams of methamphetamine 5..5 grams of heroin 79.16 grams of cocaine 20.35 grams of crack cocaine 446 grams of marijuana 72 ecstasy pills 16 doses of LSD 1,896 doses of scheduled pharmaceuticals (of which 107 were opioids) 15 Firearms $9,501.00 in U.S. Currency The Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force is comprised of officer representing Elkins Farmington, Fayetteville, Greenland, Goshen, Lincoln, Prairie Grove, Springdale and West Fork Police Departments and deputies from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
