What if I have too much yard waste to fit into paper bags or cans?
When you have large amounts of brush and/or limbs, you need to arrange for a bulky waste pick-up. For information on bulky waste requirements please see Bulky Waste under the Solid Waste FAQ. To arrange for a bulky waste pickup, please call the Recycling and Trash Collection office at 479-575-8398. Small amounts of limbs and brush can be placed curbside for weekly collection. Small piles of brush / limbs need to be placed curbside and approximately 6 feet away from your trash cart. The small piles cannot exceed 3 feet in length or 5 inches in diameter. Piles should be bundled with string for easy collection. Fayetteville residents can always bring yard waste to the Compost Facility located at 1708 South Armstrong on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the first Saturday of each month from 8 a.m. to noon during the months of November through March and the first 2 Saturdays of each month during the months of April to October.
