The majority of street lights are maintained by the utility service provider (electric company) for the area in which the street light is located. For the fastest service, contact the appropriate electric company directly: Ozarks Electric Cooperative at 1-800-521-6144 or SWEPCO / AEP at 1-888-216-3523. Citizens can also report SWEPCO street light outages through their online service form.

Please be prepared to provide the following information:

• Pole number

4. How can I get assistance with a flooding problem or a clogged storm drain?

The Transportation Division has a drainage maintenance program to ensure that drainage systems on or adjacent to public property are free of uncontrolled growth and blockages. To make a request for drainage maintenance, please call the Transportation Division Office at 479-575-8228, send us an email at transportation@fayetteville-ar.gov, or submit an online customer service request.

The City of Fayetteville Transportation Division provides maintenance for city streets, the right-of-way, drainage systems, traffic signals, and sidewalks. Additionally, the Transportation Division constructs new traffic signals, sidewalks, and trails.
