What are the burn permit restrictions?

Burning is not permitted should it create a public nuisance. Rubber, tires, roofing, or any petroleum based substance shall not be burned. There is to be no burning when the wind is strong (as determined by the fire department). No burning when smoke drifts or blows onto highways or streets, to the extent that it creates a traffic hazard. There is to be no burning unless attended by a responsible adult. Please only burn during the daytime hours. To obtain a permit you can call 479-973-4801 after 8:00 am or drop by any fire station.
