The Parking Management office offers several parking programs for the employees in and around the Downtown Square. Hang tags can be used at red-topped, long term meters located in the surrounding parking lots. Parking cards are used for both the Town Center Deck and the second level of the Municipal Parking Deck. Please call the Parking Management office at 479-575-8280 for availability and pricing.
Gray-top meters are short term, two-hour meters. They are placed in and around the Downtown Square area for customers of the businesses. The cost is $0.25 per hour. The red-top meters are long term, 10-hour meters. These are placed a little further away from the Downtown Square, but they provide less expensive rates.
The cost is $0.15 per hour to encourage downtown employees to park at these meters and leave the more convenient, closer meters available for customers visiting the area.
If you park at a meter that does not register time when a coin is inserted, you may do one of two things. If you are able to contact the Parking Management Office, (479-575-8280), while you are still at the meter, a Parking Ambassador or the Field Supervisor will be sent to assist you. If that is not possible, you must park at a different, operational meter. Otherwise, an expired meter ticket will be issued.
